Road to Glory: FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2023 Heats up in Sydney!

The FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2023 is currently taking place in Sydney. The Quaycentre at Sydney Olympic Park is the venue for all the games. Now the group stage is over, it’s time to make up the balance. You can read all about it in this new blog!

With first place in the group stage, the teams of China and Japan have secured their spots in the semi-finals. After today's rest day, the qualifying matches will take place on Friday to determine the other two teams for the semi-finals. Australia will face Korea, and New Zealand will battle against the Philippines.

On Saturday, the semifinals will be played. The losing teams of the qualifying matches will compete against each other, also on Saturday, for the 5th and 6th positions. The winners of the semi-finals will face each other on the final day, Sunday, July 2. After determining the 3rd and 4th place teams with the 3rd Place Game, the final will take place 15:00 local time and will decide who’s taking the FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2023 trophy home.
